Waupaca County ARES/RACES WEEKLY Net Preamble

At About 7:58 pm on the 146.925 Repeater announce that the Waupaca County ARES/Races net will begin shortly. at begin the net at 8 PM.

This Repeater will remain open for any emergency traffic. Stations checking into this net are requested to state slowly your callsign phonetically, your name, location, and whether or not you have traffic for the net. Calling the Waupaca County Amateur Radio Emergency Services Net.

Your net control station is _________, My name is _________ and I am located in ________________. This net meets each Sunday evening at 8 PM local on the 146.925 Repeater, PL 118.8. In the event of repeater failure the net will move to the 147.390 Repeater with a PL of 118.8

The purpose of this net is for the training and education of ARES/RACES matters, and information exchange. This is a directed net, all communications on the net will be under the direction of the net control station: however, emergency traffic may break the net at any time.

Remember to take check-ins about every 10 - 15 minutes.

The practice of second go-rounds is up to the net control station, if you choose to do so, now would be the time. 
After second go-rounds, is the time to let people go that have traffic for the net.
